Local selection & support

Each parish / diocesan agency has the responsibility to ensure that people who hold a public and representative role for the Church have the appropriate skills and attributes to perform the tasks integral to the position. This responsibility includes providing ongoing support, supervision and development.

Do all lay church workers require the Archbishop's licence or authorisation?

 

Those candidates serving in a Liturgical, Lay Leadership in Worship or a Pastoral Work area of ministry are required to hold the Archbishop's licence or authorisation.

This document can be accessed by any authorised parish office holder via the Diocesan intranet or alternatively by contacting the Diocesan Office.
