Ministry Units

 

The Diocesan Council has established four Ministry Units to progress the strategic priorities of the Diocese.

These Ministry Units are responsible for the implementation of the Diocesan Council’s Statement of Strategic Directions set by the Diocesan Council, and endorsed by Synod, in 2006.

Initial terms of reference and membership of the Ministry Units has been established and will be reviewed and finalized during 2007.

 

Church in Society

To facilitate the witness and mission of the church through advocacy, engagement with social policy and the offering of caring service within the strategic directions set by Diocesan Council.

 

Education and Formation

To encourage and facilitate the education and formation priorities of the Diocese within the strategic directions set by the Diocesan Council.

 

Mission and Evangelism 

To encourage and facilitate new and renewed models of evangelism and ministry across the Diocese within the strategic directions set by the Diocesan Council.

 

 Resources and Administration

To encourage and facilitate initiatives to increase the resources available to the Diocese for the purpose of extending ministry.
